How do you get Medicare Advantage plans?
You can enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan during the annual enrollment period (AEP), which runs from October 15 to December 7. During this time, you can switch from Original Medicare to a Medicare Advantage plan, or from one Medicare Advantage plan to another. You can also enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan during a special enrollment period (SEP) if you meet certain conditions, such as moving to a new area or losing other health coverage.

To enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan, you will need to have Medicare Part A and Part B and live in the plan's service area. You are not eligible for a Medicare Advantage plan if you have End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).
